Supplier Diversity Program
Beacon Electric Company's Supplier diversity program has been successful mainly due to the quality suppliers, partners, and employees we have worked with over the last fifteen years.
In the early 1990's Beacon was involved in the 3C's program to introduce minority youth in an educational program to incorporate them into the construction trades as a career.
During the mid 1990's Beacon was involved with Procter and Gamble to use HUB's or Historically Underutilized Businesses in the construction of the Olean facility in Cincinnati, Ohio.
And to this day, Beacon represents a company that strives to meet or exceed established goals in diversity in our workforce. This diversity is achieved through a belief in the merit philosophy. Simply through giving workers a chance to learn and grow in our company we have been fortunate to train and retain minority workers in our company as apprentices, journeypersons, service technicians and foremen.
Through our strategic relationships with minority contractors and suppliers we have brought a higher level of economic inclusion based on performance, quality, and trust rather than superficial goals.
For these reasons, we believe our supplier diversity program is successful, genuine and outstanding.
